Kidlit Websites/Blogs to follow:

Kidlit 411: Packed with information and resources. Subscribe to the weekly newsletters for chances to win books. There’s also an active group on Facebook you can join.

Writing for Kids (While Raising Them) Author Tara Lazar sponsors Story Storm each January focused on helping come up with ideas for stories. But follow to get great information year round.

Susannah Leonard Hill’s website is a great resource for connecting with other writers through her multiple contests. She also has giveaways and interviews you won’t want to miss. Contests are a great way to connect with the kidlit community and win prizes at the same time. I wrote a blog post about my favorites, here.

Literary Rambles is a wonderful resource I’ve used many times to find interviews with literary agents who represent children’s books. There are also interviews with authors and book giveaways. Run by Natalie Aguirre.
