Authors Guild A community of writers that offers career services for its members. They also have some resources that are free and available to non members as well.

Writing for Kids (While Raising Them) Author Tara Lazar sponsors Story Storm each January focused on helping come up with ideas for stories. But follow to get great information year round.
Susannah Leonard Hill’s website is a great resource for connecting with other writers through her multiple contests. She also has giveaways and interviews you won’t want to miss. Contests are a great way to connect with the kidlit community and win prizes at the same time. I wrote a blog post about my favorites, here.
